Join us for networking and a presentation from from Laurel resident - Bear Afkhami, author of “The Startup King: From Side Hustles to Fortune 500”. Networking 3:30-4:00 pm and program from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. Bear will share practical advice for anyone who is thinking about starting a business or is already a startup entrepreneur. In this first session of a series, Bear will provide general startup advice (including mistakes other startups have made and things you can avoid), as well as discuss the types of small businesses one can form including the side hustle, the big spender and the ground up type of businesses.
