WEBSITE ESSENTIALS FOR SMALL BUSINESS 3

PGCEDC and LumelaWeb have partnered together to provide Prince George’s County-based small businesses the ability to establish and develop their own websites! This dynamic five-day workshop is designed to provide small and medium-sized business owners with the skills and tools necessary to develop and maintain a robust online presence. By blending practical hands-on experience with theoretical knowledge, participants will leave with a fully functional website and the skills to manage it effectively.

FRANCHISE ACCELERATOR COHORT: PATHWAY TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation is hosting the inaugural Franchise Accelerator Cohort.  In partnership with Right Next Door Consulting, the program will host a 12 person cohort of Prince George’s County residents seeking entrepreneurial opportunities through franchising. 

The goal of the accelerator program is to assist entrepreneurs along their franchise journey through discovery, selection, introduction of a franchise brand. We will address the three major challenges for franchise candidates – access to franchise brands, demystify the franchise acquisition process, and access to capital.

Cohort members will hear from existing franchisees and get glimpse into the day of an existing franchisee. 

At the end of the program, the cohort will be ready to connect with franchise brands at Franchise Discovery Day and showcase their viability as a franchise candidate.  

Applicants must be a Prince George’s County resident and at least 18 years of age or older.

NEXT LEVEL VENTURES PART TWO

PGCEDC's Grow Prince George's umbrella of programs and Infinite Horizons' Next Level Ventures 2 stand out for their unique approach to helping business owners. They aim to help identify areas of opportunity, make businesses scalable and more resilient, assist with succession planning and risk management for uncertain times, and develop small businesses to the point of transferability and sustainability.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR SMALL BUSINESS WITH UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND

In a first-of-its-kind partnership, the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation (PGCEDC) and the University of Maryland (UMD) are excited to introduce a specialized program tailored for small business owners keen on leveraging artificial intelligence for business growth. This hybrid initiative features an online AI course, followed by an immersive in-person bootcamp at the UMD. The program offers a blend of AI-focused education, personalized coaching, and industry-relevant mentorship.

Each boot camp focuses on hands-on learning and real-world application. Topics might include:

● AI for Customer Relationship Management
● Operational Efficiency with AI
● Data-Driven Decision Making with AI

*Applicants will be informed of their successful enrollment in the program by May 10th.

SEED SPOT IMPACT ACCELERATOR

The Entrepreneur Impact Accelerator is a dynamic four-week journey, guiding entrepreneurs through foundational business development, financial refinement, impactful communication, and culminating in a compelling pitch, providing the tools and mentorship essential for driving social impact ventures to new heights.

The program focuses on preparing underrepresented entrepreneurs for growth and investment through personalized coaching, industry-specific mentorship, and a curriculum targeting key business development areas. Following the program, participants gain access to SEED SPOT’s Alumni Resource Platform, providing invaluable benefits like facilitated introductions to investors, preferred vendor pricing, and ongoing support for sustained entrepreneurial success.

ENTREPRENEURS AND EXPERTS IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM

Designed to provide Innovation Station Business Incubator (ISBI) member companies and local business owners with diverse coaching and subject matter expertise, to foster growth, expansion and success.
