LARGO, MD - Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation (PGCEDC) celebrates 40 years of serving the business community of Prince George's County, MD. Since its founding on June 13th, 1983, the organization has been dedicated to promoting economic growth and prosperity in the region.

With a mission to cultivate and promote a strong local economy supporting entrepreneurs' and businesses' growth and prosperity, dedicated to strengthening communities through business development and job creation, PGCEDC has been at the threshold of the county's economic abundance.

"Over the past 40 years, we've seen Prince George's County transform dramatically, away from a bedroom community, to a county that led the country in job growth for six consecutive years," said David Iannucci, President & CEO of Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation. "A county that brought exciting new employment opportunities and industry sectors, everything from quantum computing to aerospace to IT to healthcare, but also creating a better quality of life for all Prince George's County residents."

PGCEDC recently celebrated the 5th anniversary of Innovation Station Business Incubator (ISBI), the county's elite business accelerator agent and entrepreneurial ecosystem hub. This dynamic business resource has a host of successful company graduates and members that continue to operate in the county community and the global marketplace. The celebration was on February 28th, 2023, five years from its founding.
